Front Porch is a quartet of violin, bassoon, piano, and percussion that encourages people to build relationships with contemporary music and the people who create it. Just as a home’s front porch is an inviting space for gathering, every Front Porch concert uses a combination of cozy lighting, tea and snacks, pillows and blankets on the floor, personal stories told from the stage, and participatory elements to help audiences experience a strong sense of belonging and an excitement for the music being created in their own neighborhood.
